What happens to Second Grade? is an illustrated e-book by Linda Engel and Chris Owens, for all the children who worry about recent changes in their lives because of a peculiar virus: COVID-19. The book is the result of a collaboration with my long-time friend, Linda Engel, who suggested this project.

We wanted to create a book that would engage children, acknowledge their worries, encourage them to talk with adults to learn how to keep safe and worry less. Our aim is to provide easy access to information that can relieve anxiety for children, educate and empower them during this uncertain time of crisis and change.
