Inspirations

While a student of Graphic Design, my exploration of modern clays led to working in polymer. Originally drawn to its capacity for texture and color, I found working in polymer a relaxing, healing process that produces versatile and durable art. It has become a mixed media journey that often injects art into function, incorporating vintage components, images, resin and acrylic pours.

I hold a Master of Arts in Media Communication; am a member of the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, International Polymer Clay Association, and Kentucky Tennessee Polymer Clay Guild (KTPCG). KTPCG’s annual retreat features great national and international artists which have pushed me to grow as an artist.
